What do you do when you don't get paid?

An initial key to successful accounts receivable collections is consistancy and follow-up. While it may seem straight forward, a business needs to keep track of its accounts receivable and know how much of it is currently due, how much is 30 days over due, how much is 60 days over due and work at minimizing the amounts that are 90, 120 or even more days over due.

Generally, the longer receivables do not get paid the harder it is to ultimately collect. Constant notices and follow-up (within the guidelines of the Unfair Debt Collections Practices Act, when it applies to circumstances) helps debtors to remember their obligations and potentially pay you before paying other quiet collectors.

Mr. Cooke works with his clients to collect business to business obligations and understands that the business evaluation includes the state of the business relationship.

Please feel free to contact Mr. Cooke at (312) 497-9002 or by email at "gc@Cookeslaw.com". Mr. Cooke will pursue a collection issue on a contingincy basis. In extreme cases, Mr. Cooke works on an hourly basis.
